Resetting the pressure switch of the vacuum block to factory
settings
(if the security code cannot be found)
Note
The factory setting of the pressure switch does not correspond to the delivery status of
the vacuum block. On delivery, the pressure switch has the settings in accordance with
section 5 (
è
5 “ Quick commissioning with default settings”).
By resetting to factory settings, the current settings are lost. If required, make a note of
these settings before resetting.
To reset the pressure switch to factory settings, proceed as follows.
1. Switch off the operating voltage (M12).
2. Press all three setting elements (UP key + DOWN key + EDIT button) simultaneously and keep them
depressed.
3. Switch the operating voltage back on.

Maintenance and care
Switch off the following energy sources before cleaning the exterior of the device:
–
operating voltage
–
compressed air
If needed, clean the vacuum block from outside.
Permissible cleaning agents are soap suds (max. +60 °C) and all non-abrasive agents.

Disassembly
1. Switch off the following sources of energy before
disassembly:
–
operating voltage of the valve terminal and vacuum block
–
compressed air
2. Disconnect the electrical and pneumatic connections from the vacuum block.
3. Remove the vacuum block.
Note
Use a new seal when replacing the vacuum block.
