Configuring the field bus module
You can configure the field bus module with the software pack-
age WinPISA or with the operating panel.
Number of configurable inputs and outputs
The SPC200 communicates with the Interbus module via an
internal I/O field (internal inputs/outputs). The permitted number
of configurable inputs and outputs depends on the operating
mode of the SPC200. This is summarized in the following table.

In record selection mode, the process data capacity is preset
fixed at 4I/4O-byte (2 process data words; 32 bits). In start/stop
mode, a process data capacity between 2....8 I/O byte (1...4
process data words; 16, 32, 48 or 64 bits) can be selected.
