2 F u n c tion
The Festo Commander is a pneumatic−mechanical piece of equipment for adjusting
a pneumatic sequence controller. As command component it is functionally
matched to the Festo Quickstepper and should be operated in conjunction with the
Quickstepper.
A super−ordinate EMERGENCY−STOP, the integrated stop in cycle, start, reset, as
well as the pre−selects Auto/Man and continuous cycle/single cycle of the se
quence controller are triggered via the Festo FSSC−12 Commander. The operating
parts are optional and can be replaced or supplemented by external transducers.
3 Appli ca tion
The Commander is used as a command component for problem−free, central ad
justment and triggering of pneumatic sequence controllers. The command compo
nent is used in conjunction with a Festo FSS−12−C Quickstepper.

Ensure storage conditions as follows: Short storage periods in cool, dry, shaded
and corrosion−protected storage locations.
