Commissioning
DANGER
Serious injuries by uncontrolled movements of the product.
• Carry out a risk assessment for the operation of the product.
• Do not put the product into operation until the hazards to personnel identified in the risk assess-
ment have been eliminated by taking suitable measures.
WARNING
Serious injuries if installation and commissioning are not performed correctly.
• Commissioning may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
• Experience with the installation and operation of electrical control systems is essential.

Homing
• The stop detection should take place at a torque adapted to the application.

11.1
Safety
WARNING
Risk of injury from the Z axis falling if the toothed belt breaks.
If the toothed belt breaks, the interface (Z-axis) will fall down.
• At every lubrication and every 6 months:
Inspect the toothed belt for damage, increased abrasion and missing teeth.
• Contact Festo Service if signs of wear or damage are found

Cleaning
Clean the product only in exceptional cases with non-abrasive cleaning agents and soft cloths.
• Do not clean the guide components, e.g. guide rails.
