Take into account the fact that,
depending on the design, the feed force
F of the DNCE−LAS drops in the end
positions of stroke I (approx.5...40%
of the feed force).
The peak feed force (C) thereby dimi
nishes more than the continuous feed
force (D) (
see
catalogue specifications).

Start the machine up in one of the following ways:
on the control panel of the SFC−LACI controller in accordance with the
manual or
with the Festo Configuration Tool (FCT) and its help system on your PC.
Please observe in particular the following points:
Parameterization
Software end positions
Homing run
1. Start a test run
2. Check if the settings on the DNCE−LAS or SFC−LACI need to be changed.
Deviations in positioning accuracy or overswing of the system could be caused
by the following:
additional mass too high
dynamics too high
mechanical structure tends to vibrate
incorrect parameterizing on the SFC−LACI
resistance to shifting too high (stress with fitting/plug−in parts).
3. If necessary, repeat the test run.
When all necessary corrections have been made:
4. Check the settings of the test run in continuous operation.
In order to do this, you must extend the test run of the DNCE−LAS until it
reaches the thermic steady state (see motor temperature display in the
SFC−LACI).
