2 Function and application
The DNCE−...−LAS electric cylinder is a cylinder with piston rod and integrated
linear motor. The linear motor

moves the piston rod backwards and forwards.
The linear motor and the integrated sensor measuring system supply signals to the
SFC−LACI controller.
The measuring system, controller and motor operate in a closed−loop control
circuit. This enables the motor to regulate to specified set values for speed,
position and force within the permitted stroke range with a high degree of
accuracy.
The DNCE−LAS electric cylinder, in conjunction with the SFC−LACI controller, is
intended for handling tasks involving high requirements in terms of dynamics. It is
not intended for manufacturing processes which are sensitive to copper or PTFE.
3 T ransport and storage

Take account of the weight of the DNCE−LAS.
Depending on the design the DNCE−LAS can weigh up to 7 kg.

Ensure the following storage conditions:
short storage times and
cool, dry, shaded, corrosion−protected storage locations
free of strong influence from magnetic fields (e.g. pulse discharges).
