SMILE VDS BASIC MONITOR
CONTROL BUTTONS
The SMILE monitor incorporates an OSD menu that is managed via the
monitor’s navigation buttons

by pressing the capacitive buttons

on the monitor to access the terminals’user and programming functions.
Press the button
for 3 seconds to access the “programming menu”.
2. ENTER PROGRAMMING MENU
Select with
the
icon and confi rm with
, a confi rmation screen appears confi rming
the option and you hear a beep on the monitor. Enter the calling code for this monitor from
the panel (calling code for this monitor). A different call tone sounds, confi rming the monitor´s
programming. After a few seconds the monitor returns to standby.

Digital menu for internal parameter settings and confi guration.
Press for 3 seconds to access the installer menu and ring tone menu.
Short press to display the Shortcut buttons.
In conversation or only video, press to open the door.
In standby, call to guard unit (if applicable).
Audio activation and hang-up (hands-free functions)
Wildcard button (default function/available on depending model):
Press for 1 second to perform auto-start.
With video, press and hold this button for 2 seconds to sequentially
select between the main camera and the secondary camera.
HOW TO PROGRAM THE SMILE MONITOR
Monitor powered for the fi rst time.
The wildcard button blinking (red) indicates that the monitor
has not been programmed.
When the monitor is programmed, the red LED is off.
