Keeping the rip fence in the same position, now turn over the workpiece so that it
faces the opposite direction, as shown in FC01.3.

It should be possible to slide the workpiece onto the saw blade from the back, whilst
keeping the workpiece against the rip fence. If you cannot do this then the rip fence
freecut will either be too much or not at all (toe-in). Adjust it closer if necessary.
With the workpiece in the position shown in FC01.3 and against the rip fence,
carefully rotate the saw blade to see if the back tooth hits the workpiece
on the rip
fence side of the cut.
The rip fence side of the cut should be clear of the back tooth
by less than a hairs breadth, but definately not touching. Follow the link to the
