-Before installing the equipment, read and understand all the instructions in this manual.
-To correctly install this equipment, it is necessary to have a good knowledge of automotive
electricity and to be familiar with emergency warning systems.
-Do not connect the equipment to the positive battery terminal until the installation has been
completed. Verify first that there are no negative shorts (short circuits to ground).
-When drilling into a vehicle structure, be sure that both sides of the surface are clear of anything
(brake lines, electrical wiring...) that could be damaged.
PACKAGE CONTENTS
Inside the AS-422 electronic siren box you should find:

1 Amplifier support base
1 Control head with spring telephone cord
1 Control head base
1 Mounting bracket for control head base
1 Connection box
1 Bag of wiring containing:
1 package of 9 wires with a 9-way Mic connector at one end. (2 metres)
1 package of 6 wires with a 6-way Minifit connector at one end. (2 metres)
1 8-way telephone wire with telephone connectors at both ends. (3 metres)
1 power cable from the connection box with a faston female terminal at one end
(1.5 metres).
1 Bag of screws containing:
4 self-tapping screws 3.9 x 13 (amplifier base)
4 screws M4 x 15 (amplifier base)
2 self-tapping screws 4.2 x 16 (mounting bracket)
4 countersunk head screws M4x12 (mounting bracket for control head base connection)
2 cylindrical head self-tapping screws 4.2 x 38 (connection box)
4 flat washers M4 (amplifier base)
8 pressure washers M4 (4 amplifier base + 4 mounting bracket/control head base)
8 nuts M4 (4 amplifier base + 4 mounting bracket/control head base)
INSTALLATION
After the contents have been checked, you may start to install the equipment. The following tools
and material are needed, but not supplied, to complete the installation not supplied with this equipment.
A portable electric drill
A 5 mm bit
A 3 mm bit
A Philips PH 3 screwdriver
