13. Serial port connectors (10-1 pin COM2, COM34)
These connectors are for serial (COM) ports. Connect the serial port module
cable to this connector, then install the module to a slot opening at the back
of the system chassis.
NOTES:

The COM module is purchased separately.

These COM ports support RS-232.
14. Audio amplifier and digital audio connector (10-pin SPDIF_AMP)
The upper line of pins, close to the edge of the motherboard, are for an
external audio amplifier.
The lower line of pins are for an additional Sony/Philips Digital Interface (S/
PDIF) port. Connect the S/PDIF Out module cable to this connector, then
install the module to a slot opening at the back of the system chassis.
