12. Cleaning, maintenance, and transport
Cleaning and maintaining the LOKAL 400 measurement device
•
When required, clean the device with a soft, slightly moistened, and lint-free cloth. Do
not apply any detergent. Use clear water to moisten the cloth.
Maintenance and service
•
If the integrated nickel metal hydride accumulator does no longer provide the requested
power, please send the component to our Customer Service for replacement.
Storage and transportation
•
We recommend using the original FAST transport case for the LOKAL 400 device and
its accessories if you need to shuttle the equipment from one place to the other. This
case has perfect cavity inserts for the particular components. The picture below may
serve as an example of the arrangement of the equipment in the FAST case. The
central unit has to be stored with the display facing the inside of the case. Please make
sure that the device does not rest on the dial (aerial inlets have to face the lid of the
case !).

Please ensure that the device is not exposed to major shocks during transport.
•
Please take the guidelines for safe transport into consideration when shuttling the
device from one place to the other.
•
Store the device at a dry and cool place.
