The drop-down curtain requires a ribbon board to secure its
upper section and a baseboard to secure its lower section.
The materials for these components are not included
and are supplied by the customer.
BASEBOARDS AND RIBBON BOARDS
The example above shows the required ribbon board and
baseboard as attached to the frame.
ATTENTION:
Consult the Main Cover Details diagram in
the Quick Start section of this manual to determine where
to install the ribbon board.
Ribbon board consists of two boards; the first is a 2" x 6"
board attached to the frame; the second is a 1" x 4" board
attached to the first board. These boards, when assembled,
provide a channel to secure curtain when it is in the up or
closed position.

RIBBON BOARD INSTALLATION
1. Attach first board of two-piece ribbon board to frame at
required height.
Install board over lower edge of the
polycarbonate panels.
See diagram left column.
2. Take the 1" x 4" boards and attach to installed ribbon
board as shown.
Evenly space wood screws at 24".
3. Complete the next procedure below.
Secure boards to frame using 1/4" x 4" carriage bolts
and to each other using the FA4652 fasteners, which are
included.
Evenly space wood screws at 24".

INSTALL U-CHANNEL ALONG END PANEL EDGES
Complete these steps:
1. Return to each corner and attach a section of
U-channel (104213) to exposed edge of end panel
between ribbon board and baseboard.
