5. Drill mounting holes through the vent seal using a drill
and 3/16" drill bit.
6. Hold vent seal against mullion. To easily mark hole
location, have an assistant or use clamps to hold the
vent seal in position.

9. Using an FA4482B Tek screw, drill mounting holes in mullion in
the locations marked in Steps 6 and 7. See note at the right.
8. After marking all hole positions, set the vent seal aside
to drill holes.

7. Mark the mounting hole locations throughout the length
of the mullion using the vent seal as a template.

10. Repeat Steps 1-9 to prepare the
remaining side rail for the other end of
the vent frame.

IMPORTANT:
Drill until the screw tip cuts through the surface of the mullion and stop. There will be five (5) mounting
holes in the mullion when all the holes are drilled.
