Applying Power (continued)

Step Procedure

Plug the DC power plug end of the transformer cord into the Power Input Port
on the rear panel of the Printer. (

Note:

Optional external transformer must be a

Listed Class 2 device with an output rating of 16.5 volts and 3.5 amps AC
(alternating current).

The alternating current should be between 50 and 60 Hz.)

Plug the AC power plug end of the transformer cord into an available wall outlet.
(

Note:

The wall outlet should be located near the Printer and should be easily

accessible.)

Power is automatically applied to the Printer when it is plugged in.
Press the

On/Cancel

button if you wish to turn the Printer OFF.
