NOTE:

-

After 30 seconds in standby mode, indicators will switch off automatically but

programs can still be selected.

-

Allow the appliance some time to cool down during operation cycles. It is

recommended to allow a cooling down of equal time as the last cycle after

each usage.

WARNING:

-

Always ensure there is food in the jar (3) before using the appliance.

-

Do not use the jar to blend hot liquids.

-

Do not overfill the jar to avoid spilling or food entering the motor unit (6).

-

Do not use the appliance without the jar (3) and/or lid (2) (ill.

k

).

•

Turn the control knob (9) clockwise to the required speed to start operation

(ill.

l

). Continue turning the control knob clockwise to increase the speed

setting. The brightness of the control knob indicator is being adjusted alongside

with the speed setting of the appliance. The higher the speed, the brighter the

indicator becomes.

NOTE:

•

During operation, remove the measuring cup (1) from the lid (2) to add food, if

required. Additional food should be cut into small size pieces before adding to

the blender jar.

•

During operation, press the PULSE button (12) to increase the speed to the

•

Press the related program button (10, 11, 12) to select the required blending

program according to the food to be processed (  Blending programs). The

selected button and control knob indicator are steady blue while the other

indicators switch off. Once the program time has elapsed, the motor unit stops. The

appliance switches into the standby mode and the light indicators will flash blue.

WARNING:

-

Never attempt to remove the jar (3) from the motor unit (6) during operation.

-

Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 3 minutes. Do not

operate the appliance continuously for more than 15 seconds without load.

-

The appliance has an overheating protection which automatically switches the

appliance off if the rated power is exceeded due to heavy load, when the blades

are being prevented from turning or after too many usage cycles. If this happens,

turn the control knob (9) to OFF position to switch the appliance off. Unplug the

appliance from the wall outlet. Wait at least 15 minutes to allow the appliance

cool down before plugging it back in and resuming normal operation.

-

The appliance has an overcurrent protection which activates if the rated

current is exceeded due to overload, short circuit or ground fault. The appliance

switches off and indicators are flashing. If this happens, turn the control

knob (9) to OFF position to switch the appliance off. Turn the control knob (9)

back to the ON position to place the appliance in standby mode and resume

normal operation according to the food to be processed (  Blending programs).
