Possible operating modes
Stereo
Both output stage channels operate independently of each other, each input (A and B) is amplified by
one channel, loudspeakers are connected to both power amplifier channels.
The volume for both outputs can be controlled separately.
Parallel
Both power amplifier channels amplify the signal from input A to both power amplifier channels, spea-
kers are connected. The control for channel A is used to control the volume.
Bridged
Both output stage channels are internally connected in such a way that double the output power is
available. Only the signal from input A is amplified, speakers are only connected to the correspondingly
marked output.
The volume control for channel A is used to adjust the volume.
At each output of the amplifier, the total impedance resulting from the individual impedances of the
connected loudspeakers must under no circumstances fall below the permissible minimum impedance
of the amplifier output.
If you want to connect several speakers to one amplifier output, note the following:
When the loudspeakers are connected in parallel, the inverse of the total impedance is equal to the sum
of the inverse values of the individual impedances. This means, for example, with two loudspeakers with
the same impedance: in series connection the impedance doubles, in parallel connection it is halved.
