pumping. The pump’s rated capacity is specifi ed for zero lifting altitude.
Pipes and lines used for pump connection may not have smaller diameters than pump’s inlets and outlets.
Point of water outfl ow should be connected to pump inlet using additional connector, which is not supplied with the pump.
You may choose any of two inlets, but you should always keep in mind that the pump inlet may not be placed higher than the point
of water outfl ow (V). Impurities should outfl ow by gravity into direction of a pump.
The connection to be protected by means of band clips. If necessary, use additional sealing.
Water inlet that is not used should be protected by means of a plug, affi xed with a ring (II).
Pump outlet to be connected to sewage outfl ow. All connections to be protected by means of band clips. If necessary, use ad-
ditional sealing. Band clips should be tightened with a force suffi cient to provide tightness. Excessive force may damage the
rubber elements.
Pump outlet has not been protected by means of a check valve and it is required to connect the check valve supplied with a pump,
or other available separately, to pump outlet. Direction of fl ow through the valve is marked by means of an arrow and you should
be careful not to connect the valve in opposite direction (III). The check valve will protect the pump outlet against infl ow of sewage
remaining in hydraulic system outside the pump.
The pump outlet should be connected to a sewage system with a diameter of at least 82 mm.
Avoid excessive complications of an outfl ow system. It should be simple and contain the minimum number of angle connectors,
the so-called “elbows”. This will prevent accumulation of impurities in refractions and allow using the maximum pump capacity.
After completion of hydraulic installation connect the pump to mains plug and check tightness of connection using clean water. If
any leaks are found immediately unplug the power cable and remove the cause of leakage.
It is possible to connect the pump to two sewage outfl ow points at the same time, but with simultaneous use of more than one
pump inlet you should remember about maximum pump capacity.
After all hydraulic connections have been installed; the pump may be affi xed to ground. First, mount the connectors with holes (IV),
and then affi x the connectors to ground using bolts or screws.
USING PUMP
The pump starts automatically after having been fi lled with impurities and stops after having been emptied.
It is forbidden to throw any paper, hygienic articles (e.g. pads, tampons etc.) and cigarette butts to appliances connected to pump.
This may block the operation of pump’s engine, lead to its overheating and damage. This may also result in unsealing of hydraulic
system. Also a risk of electric shock increases.
If any abnormal symptoms of operation are found, e.g. increased noise, vibrations, the pump should be immediately stopped by
unplugging from mains. Before re-connecting the pump to mains, cause of abnormal operation should be removed.
PUMP MAINTENANCE
During normal operation, the pump does not require any special maintenance treatment. Check periodically whether the hydraulic
system has not been unsealed. During operation, please note any changes in operation and/or effi ciency of operation. If the pump
is left at locations where temperature may drop below 0 degrees centigrade, the pump and the entire hydraulic system should be
emptied of water. Water when freezing increases its volume which may lead to damage of pump and hydraulic system.
Warning!
In case any pump failures are found, it should be immediately disconnected from power supply and only then you may
begin searching the cause of failure.
If the pump failure requires any manufacturer’s service, thoroughly clean the pump of all impurities. The manufacturer reserves the
right to reject the pump which is dirty. Please note that the transport of impurities may be subject to separate legal regulations.
You will fi nd below the most common causes and possible remedies that you may encounter during pump operation.
The device is running but:
Possible cause
Solution
- insuffi ciently, or too slow,
Outfl ow tube is too long.
Outfl ow pipe diameter is too small.
Outfl ow pipe is partially blocked.
Check the outfl ow pipe.
Start pump with the external switch.
- does not pump despite the noise of the operating
engine
The pump is blocked.
Non-return valve mounted in the wrong direction.
Check the pump.
Check the direction the non-return valve.
- it starts accidentally,
- works continuously,
Valve failure in the tank of lavatory pan
Leakage.
Check whether the water is not coming out of
lavatory pan.
Check whether the water tap of wash basin is not
leaking.
