6. Replace the front bezel. If necessary, see the instructions Removing
and Re-Installing the Front Bezel, on page A-4 .
Note
After replacement battery insertion, the charging process starts. It takes
approximately 8 hours to charge a completely discharged battery. Ensure
the battery is charged and fully functional by issuing the
show chassis nvr
command again.
Replacing the Power Supplies
The ARX-2000 accommodates two power supplies — both accessible from
the back of the system. The following figure shows the location of the power
supplies.

The power supplies are hot-swappable, meaning that if the system is
powered up, then one of the two power cords can be disconnected and its
power supply removed at any time. As long the other power cord remains
connected to a functioning power supply, the system will continue to run
normally.
Facing the back of the system, the power supplies are designated 1/1 (top)
and 1/2 (bottom).
If you receive an e-mail notification of a power supply failure, examine the
LED on the power supplies (each power supply has one LED) to determine
which has failed. The LED on the failed power supply will be illuminated
(amber). Also, consult the
ARX SNMP Reference, Power , on page 1-31.
The following example output from the CLI command, show chassis
chassinfo , shows that both power supplies are installed and online.
