Config(uration) port
— Connect a host
CONFIG
device to the top panel mini USB B
configuration port. This port serves a similar
communications function as the side panel
Remote RS-232 port, but it is easier to access
than the side port after the switcher has been
installed and cabled.
NOTE: A top panel Configuration port
connection and a side panel Remote
RS-232 port connection can both be active
at the same time. If commands are sent
simultaneously to both, the command that
reaches the processor first is handled first.

Reset button
— Initiates two levels of
RESET
switcher reset. For the different reset levels,
press and
hold
the button while the
switcher is running or while you power up the
switcher (see
Reset Mode
on page 19 for
details).
Mounting
Before mounting the floor box, consider the mounting location and prepare the surface as
necessary.
1.
If not already completed, install the appropriate adapter plates in the desired position
and mounting slots (see
Adapter Plates
on page 5).
2. Align the screw holes on the DTP2 T 202 FB with the screw holes on the adapter
plates.
3. Using the provided self-threading screws and washers, secure the DTP2 T 202 FB to
the adapter plates (see
figure 11 though figure 14 beginning on page 12).
