2. 

When the DSC is first connected to a particular USB port on the computer, one of the 
following windows may open:

• 

Windows XP and earlier:

  If the following window opens, specify whether 

Windows Update will search the Web for the driver needed for the computer to 
communicate with the DSC via the USB port (this is not necessary if the USB 
driver already exists on the computer).
