Power sources: Integrated internal battery or mains powered.
Charging the built-in battery
Plug the speaker’s mains lead into a wall socket to charge. Charge the battery for
a minimum of 48 hours before initial use.
Charge indicator:
• Red: The battery is almost flat. Charge the battery.
• Flashing green: Charging in progress.
• Solid green: Battery fully charged.
Switching on/off
• Turn the speaker on by turning the [ Music volume/On-Off ] (3) knob clockwise.
The speaker automatically starts in Bluetooth mode making it immediately
detectable for other Bluetooth devices. The Bluetooth function turns of if no
Bluetooth devices are paired within the first 2 min. If the time has expired, press
the [ PAIR ] button to make the speaker detectable again for other Bluetooth devices.
• Turn the speaker off by turning the [ Music volume/On-Off ] (3) knob fully counter-
clockwise.
Connecting an external Bluetooth device
1. Switch the speaker on.
2. The blue Bluetooth indicator will begin flashing quickly which indicates that
the speaker is ready to be paired with other Bluetooth devices.
3. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired with the speaker.
4. The speaker will appear on your device as
BPX1000
, select it and pair it with your
device. Once contact has been established, the Bluetooth indicator will begin
flashing slowly.
5. Start playback on your device. Set the desired volume levels both on the external
device and the speaker. The volume on the external device must be set to max
in order for you to achieve sufficient volume and for the speaker’s LED effect
lighting to function effectively. Turn the volume on the external device up to max.
Other playback settings should be controlled from the external device.
6. Making the speaker detectable for other Bluetooth devices:

Turn off Bluetooth on the last connected device.

Activate Bluetooth on the new device to be paired.

Press the speaker’s [ PAIR ] button.

The Bluetooth indicator (2) will begin flashing quickly, meaning that it is again
detectable for other Bluetooth devices.
Note:
If you are prompted to enter a PIN code on your device, you should enter
0000
(four zeroes). Certain devices may also require you to approve the connection.
