To reset the shredder after the overload safety cut-off has tripped:
1. Unplug the shredder from the wall socket and let it cool down. Clear the blades of any paper
remnants.
2. Plug the shredder back into the wall socket, wait until the indicator light shines green and then
slide the switch to REV. Excess paper remnants will exit through the feed opening. Unplug
the shredder and remove any paper remnants from the blades.
3. Set the switch to AUTO.
Care and maintenance
• Always unplug the shredder from the wall socket before cleaning.
• Feed sheets of lubrication paper (Clas Ohlson art.no 36–4038) into the shredder at regular
intervals to keep the machine running smoothly.
• Clean the shredder by wiping it with a dry cloth.
• Clear the blades from paper remnants using a sharp object.
• Empty the waste bin regularly. A full waste bin can contribute to diminished shredder performance.
