

Resolve MAC Address

: When enabled, will send a request to the

network to retrieve the MAC address corresponding to the selected
destination IP address. This setting is disabled by default.

MAX Address Status

: Indicates the Resolve MAC address status.

Possible status are:

Status

is not enabled.

Resolving

The MAC address is being resolved.

Resolved

The MAC address is resolved and the next-hop

reachability is confirmed.

Unreachable

The MAC address is resolved and the next-hop is
unreachable.

Failed

The MAC address cannot be resolved.
