Using Markers
Using Markers
You can use markers to view the position and relative power of an event.
Markers are available from the
Events
tab (when you modify or add an
event) or the
Measure
tab in the main window.
To move a marker:
1.
Ensure that the
button is selected in the zoom button bar.
2.
From the
Measure
tab, press the markers button until it displays the
desired marker. You can also use
from the keypad.
In addition to the
a
,
A
,
B
, and
b
markers, you can also select the
All
item.
3.
Once the appropriate marker is selected, use the right and left arrow
buttons to move the marker along the trace. You can also move it with
the selection dial located on the front of the unit.
Note:
You can also select the marker directly on the trace display and drag it to
the desired position.
If a marker is moved closed to another one, both will move together. This
ensures a minimum distance is maintained between markers.
A marker may disappear from the trace after you zoom in (see
on page 123). You can recall it by selecting a missing marker with
the
Markers
button or by using one of the arrows to bring the selected
marker back into the displayed area.
