Wiring for Power
1.
After installing conduit between the breaker panel and the EVSE, pull through the AC wiring. Be sure to use stranded
copper wires. Note: The Power Disconnect Switch and Ground Bar can accommodate wires from 4-10 AWG.

Turn the Power Disconnect Switch to OFF. (Figure 9). To lock the disconnect, lift the small plastic latch on the left
side and apply a lock.

Attach the AC wires to the Power Disconnect Switch on the EVSE (Figure
10). Torque to 26.5 lb. in.
4.
Attach the green ground wire from the breaker panel to the EVSE’s GFCI
ground bar (Figures 10 & 10A). Torque 10 AWG wires to 20 in-lb, 8 AWG
wires to 25 in-lb, and 6-4 AWG wires to 35 in-lb.

If required, proceed to wiring for serial communication on the next page.
If you are using a Zigbee Mesh Network, turn the Power Disconnect
Switch to ON (Figure 9) and proceed to Replacing the Cover on Page 17.
