gravity to a thru-hull fitting in the hull side. Grab
rails, cup holders, accommodation for hooks,
knives and tools are built into the top of the sta-
tion. There are three large drawers for tackle
storage and dunnage. “Push to close” latches
secure each drawer when they are closed. They
latch automatically when the drawers are closed
and are lockable.
Seat Base and Helm Seats
The helm and passenger seats are equipped with a
flip up bolster to provide more room between the
seats and the helm. The bolsters convert the seats
to a leaning post style seat with a backrest, allow-
ing the operator and passenger to sit or stand at
the helm. To convert each seat to a leaning post,
lift the front of the seat cushion to raise the bolster
and push it back above the seat cushion.
Arm rests on each side of the seats and on the
console glove compartment provide a more com-
fortable driving position. A molded in footrest
on the rear of the console makes the helm more
comfortable when the bolsters are set to the seat
position. There is also a foldout footrest below
each seat for additional convenience.
Molded recesses located on each side of the seat
base are designed for fire extinguishers. The re-
cessed mounting locations keep the fire extinguish-
ers out of the way and readily available.
A large cooler is mounted on a slide track below
the seats. Special stretch straps secure the cooler
to the base on the slide track. The cooler can
be slid out for easy access or removal. A spring
loaded pin in the rear of the cooler mount secures
the cooler in any position along the slide track.
To slide the cooler, lift up on the pin and slide the
cooler to the desired position. Then release the
pin to hold the cooler in position.
Cockpit Lounge Seats and Table
There is a lounge seat and table in the forward
section of the cockpit. An insulated storage box/
cooler that drains to the bilge is located below the
starboard lounge seat cushion. Air conditioning
vents in the front of the helm station provide cool-
ing for the lounge area whenever the air conditioner
in activated.
