Sound Detection
You can configure the sound detection settings on this page. For this function to work, an external audio device
has to be connected to the camera to detect audio.
Enable:
Switch the button to the right to enable the Sound Detection function. And then configure the Sound
Detection Schedule on the below schedule grids.
Rise:
Switch the button to the right to enable the Sound Rise function.
Rise Sensitivity:
Adjust the sensitivity for the sound rise detection.
Sound Intensity:
Adjust the intensity for the sound rise detection.
Decline:
Switch the button to the right to enable the Sound Decline function.
Decline Sensitivity:
Adjust the sensitivity for the sound decline detection.
Send Email:
Switch the button to the right to enable the Email alert function. When a sound detection event is
triggered, the camera will send an email alert with a snapshot image to the pre-configured Email receiver. Note
that for this function to work, you have to set up the Email function in advance (refer to

.

).
Sound Detection Schedule:
Move your mouse cursor over the schedule time blocks. Click and drag on the schedule time blocks to draw the
blocks with purple color, which will be applied with Sound Detection function.
Sound Detection Record Schedule:
If you want the camera to record the Sound Detection alarm, you will have to configure the record schedule for
the sound detection function (please refer to
5.3.2 Record Schedule
).
Click
Refresh
to refresh the page; click
Apply
to save the settings.
