Setting up the spotlight
1. Unpack the items supplied and remove all protective
fi
lms that
may be present. Check all parts for possible transport dam-
age. If you should
fi
nd any transport damage, do not use the
article(!), but contact the customer service department imme-
diately.
2. Attach the ground spike to the spot-
light: place the nut into the hexago-
nal hole in the ground spike holder.
Place the round end of the ground
spike into the ground spike holder
and fasten it with the clamping
screw.
3. Position the spotlight a distance of no more than 10 metres
from the object onto which the laser beam is to be projected.
Anchor the ground spike in the ground (if indoors: in a
fl
ower
pot).
4. Orient the spotlight towards the object. To do this, you can
loosen the clamping screw and tighten it again after you have
oriented the spotlight.
5. Lay the mains cable in such a way that it does not present a
trip hazard.
6. Plug the cable connector into the
socket on the mains adapter that is
also supplied. Then twist the cap nut
onto the thread of the mains adapter.
7. Only connect the mains adapter to a plug socket that has been
properly installed.
Use
1. Before you use the remote control for the
fi
rst time, pull the
insulation strip out of the battery compartment to activate the
battery.
2. If the spotlight does not switch on automatically after you have
connected it, point the remote control at the front of the spot-
light and press the
EIN
(on) button.
CAUTION: Laser Radiation!
Do not look directly into the
beam. Laser radiation can result in blinding and permanent
damage to the eyes.
Point the remote control directly at the front of the spotlight.
The distance between the remote control and the spotlight
should be no more than 3 metres.
Under sub-zero temperatures it can take a few minutes un-
til the spotlight lights up fully.
3. By pressing the buttons of the remote control, you can call up
the following functions:

If the spotlight stops responding to the remote control, it is possible
that the glass cover may be dirty or the battery may be too weak
and need to be replaced (see below).
Changing the Battery of the Remote Control
1. The battery compartment is located
on the narrow side of the remote
control. Pull it out as shown.
2. Take the used battery out and insert
a 3 V battery of the CR2025 type.
The positive pole must be facing up-
wards.
3. Push the battery compartment back into the remote control to
the limit stop.
Disposal
The packaging material is recyclable. Please dispose of it in
an environmentally friendly manner.
Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly manner.
It should not be disposed of in the normal household waste.
Please dispose of it at a recycling centre for used electrical
and electronic devices.
Non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries should be
removed prior to disposal of the article and disposed of
separately from the article. To protect the environment, non-
rechargeable and rechargeable batteries may not be dis-
posed of with normal household waste, but must be taken
to suitable collection points. Also note the relevant statutory
regulations governing the disposal of batteries.
