CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
To clean the appliance, always allow it to cool down after use.
Do not immerse the appliance in water. Simply wipe with a damp cloth.
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaners.
The heating shell is made of stainless steel. If, however, rust stains were to appear, it is only
a deposit that adheres to the surface. Rub the stains with a special stainless steel cleaner.
The egg tray and lid are made of plastic so you can clean them normally or in the dishwasher.
Lime removal
Limestone deposits can cause energy loss and influence the life of the appliance, as well as
the result of cooking if the appliance is switched off too soon or if the limestone layer is too
large. This layer is then very difficult to remove. For this reason, scald your device regularly.
Use special soap against limestone that is effective, safe for food, and neutral in taste and
odor (products available in supermarkets or specialized retailers).
Always unplug the appliance before descaling and allow it to cool and follow the
manufacturer's instructions for the descaling products you obtain.
Never pour any descaling agent onto the hot plate.
The European directive 2012/19/EC about electronic and electric waste, requires that you can’t
throw away defective domestic appliance with common waste. Used device has to be collect separately
to optimize the recuperation rate and the recycling of the materials to reduce the impact on the health
and the environment.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capacities, or by persons lacking in experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or
instructed on the use of this apparatus by a person responsible for their safety.Children should be
supervised to ensure they do not play with this appliance.
