ASSEMBLY
This fountain is designed for standing installation only. The device may only be installed absolutely planar at
a vibration-free, oscillation-free location. Once filled with water, the fountain will become heavy. Consider this
fact when selecting the place of installation.
Unpack all fountain parts.
1. Place the reservoir at the desired location.
2. Mount the angle irons to the stainless steel waterwall using the enclosed screws.
3. Carefully put the waterwall in the reservoir. For outdoor applications we recommend to additionally weigh
down the angle irons of the wall component with a heavy tile made of stone or rustproof metal (not
included). By screwing the angle irons to these tiles, optimum stability can be achieved as is required for
outdoor applications due to the fountain’s large windage area. Make sure not to damage the reservoir!
First determine the ideal place for the wall components by means of the reservoir cover (perforated
metal frame).
4. At the lower part on the side, the waterwall has two cutouts for connecting the pump(s).
Fasten the pipe
to the pump and secure it with a pipe clamp. Connect the other end to the distributor piece (only article
nr. 83309138). Attach two pipes to the distributor piece and connect them to the pipe opening on the
stainless steel waterwall. Secure all connections with the pipe clamps, included in delivery. Double
check, that the flow rate rotary control shows maximum level. Later the water will be pumped upwards
through these cutouts inside the fountain wall. Attach the pumps with their suction cups to the side wall
of the reservoir. Make sure to leave sufficient space in all directions. Place the power cable outside the
reservoir.
5. Once again check the position of the fountain and adjust the reservoir and wall component with a water
level. All components must be perfectly aligned, both vertically and horizontally, to prevent the fountain
from overflowing and to allow for even water flow down the wall.
6. Fill the fountain with sufficient water. Distilled water is recommended. Please note, a certain amount of
water remains in circulatory flow during operation.
7. Now place the reservoir cover (perforated metal frame) over the wall(s) and put it on the reservoir.
8. Decorate the cover as desired, e.g. with items from the EUROPALMS range.
Taking into operation
1. Connect the power cables of the pump(s) to the mains.
2. As soon as the water is lifted upwards inside the wall after a few seconds, it will be steadily shimmering
down on both outer sides of the wall.
3. Check that there is no water leaking from the reservoir.
4. Always make sure that the water can flow off hindered through the reservoir cover (perforated metal
frame).
5. The water flow can be adjusted with the control valve on the pump enclosure.
