TERMINAL IN DFI
7.1
RS485 Cabling
This is a 3 core unscreened cable. The connections should be made “color to
color” to the Touch Control DFI.
For connections up to 50 meters the wire size can be 3 x 0,5 sqmm. and for
longer lengths bigger sizes like 3 x 1.00 sqmm. should be used.
The following drawing (derived from partnr. 1180456230A) shows a setup
with 3 devices.
For exact functionality consult the manual of the Touch Control DFI
and device.
7.2
RC-MSA Cabling
This is a 4 core unscreened cable. The connections should be made between
device and RC-MSA remote.
For connections up to 50 meters the size can be 4 x 0,5 sqmm. and for longer
lengths bigger sizes like 4 x 1.00 sqmm. should be used.
The following drawing (derived from partnr. 1180442120) shows how the
RC-MSA should be connected to the DFI.
