Door Handle Adjustment
It is very important for the correct operation of the stove that the furnace
door (glass door) is air tight when closed. To adjust the furnace door
handle latch, loosen the locking nut and adjust the bolt as required.
Retighten the locking nut. The adjustment should be made so that when
the handle is in its closed position the door is air tight.
If after adjustment it is not air tight the rope seal set should be
replaced.
It is also important to lubricate the door handle shaft and latch blade
at the end of the heating season as failure to do this may cause the handle to seize over the summer shut
down period.
Lower Door Opening and Level Adjustment
To open the lower door lift the bottom left hand side slightly and
swing the door open to the right.
The door can be adjusted by loosening the nut securing the eccentric
latch pin and screwing the pin in or out to adjust the horizontal and
vertical closing position.
