Video Driver Controls
The video interface lets you change the screen resolution and color output to
whatever is most comfortable/efficient for you. This is a matter of hardware,
video memory and the driver for your operating system. The driver interface
shows the available options (see
“Display” on page B - 3
for
LCD
informa-
tion).
You can switch display devices from the
Display Properties
control panel in
Windows
as long as the video driver is installed (see
“What to Install” on
page 4 - 1
).
Driver Interface Differences
The driver interface (including the taskbar icon), and default screen resolution
will differ slightly in appearance depending on whether your computer is
De-
sign I
or
Design II
(see
“Design Differences” on page 1 - 7
). However the
driver control options for both interfaces are the same. The table on the fol-
lowing shows the main differences in the appearance of the two driver inter-
faces. The pictures used throughout this chapter relate to
Design I
(standard
screen).
Screen Resolution/
Screen Area Note
You may set the reso-
lution to a higher set-
ting than the panel
supports, however this
will require you to pan
(scroll) around the
screen as the display
area will be larger than
what you can see on
the LCD.
