Replacing the battery
Attention! The battery replacement may only be performed by a qualified specialist,
who has special watchmaker tools and the appropriate specialist knowledge!
• A battery replacement is necessary when the wristwatch stops.
• To change the battery the casing bottom needs to be removed.
• After that the battery can be removed from its holder and replaced.
Cleaning and care
• Under no circumstances use aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical
solutions, as the material can be attacked as a result, or the function can even be impaired.
• Use a dry, non-fibrous, soft cloth for cleaning the product. To remove tougher stains, use a
cloth dampened slightly with lukewarm water for cleaning the product. Do not press too hard
on the glass front, this can lead to scratch marks or breakage.
• If the watch has been worn in salt water, rinse it with fresh water and dry thoroughly using
a soft cloth.
Shock resistance
• The wristwatch is protected against impact in normal use. However it should not be subjected
to extreme impacts, as occurs e.g. when falling onto hard ground. This can damage the
movement mechanism.
Water impermeability
Make sure that the crown is in its normal position

. Only then is the
waterproofing ensured. Do not use the crown or either buttons while the
watch is under water.
Observe the marking on the back of the wristwatch and its meaning.

Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
b) Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used
batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated batteries are labeled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in the
domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd
= Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on batteries, e.g. below the trash icon
on the left).
Used batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores or wherever
batteries are sold.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
