3. Definition of “intended use” and “handling”
3.1 Intended use
The dispensers are suitable for touchless disinfection of hands as well as for
dispensing gels, liquid soaps and lotions (pay attention to viscosity!). The intended
media are for rubbing into the hands.
The dispensers are designed exclusively for operation with 4 x 1.5 V AA Mignon LR6
batteries. The dispensers can be used either free-standing or wall-mounted; ensure
adequate stability if the device is used free-standing.
Regular changing of the disposable roller pumps is part of the intended use!
Environmental conditions:
Do not use the dispensers in potentially explosive atmospheres
Use the dispensers indoor only
Use the dispensers in dust-free environments
Use the dispensers only at a relative air humidity of less than 90%
Use the dispensers at room temperature
Media used:
The media used should flow well at room temperature
Check media of higher viscosity for suitability (gels or lotions)
Do not use abrasive or aggressive media
Liquids other than low viscosity (alcohol-based or non-alcohol-based)
disinfectants, disinfectant gels, liquid soaps and liquid lotions cannot be used
3.2
Handling the dispenser
Please observe the following notes to ensure optimal function of the device:
Use only original parts and original spare parts
Use only suitable low viscosity media
Observe the correct polarity of the batteries – see the specifications on/in the
battery compartment cover
Make sure the pump tube hangs freely in the bottle (not towards the
bottle wall)
and the silicone tube is not kinked anywhere
Do not pull on the pump tube, this could block the pump
Use only suitable jet pumps - spray pumps (available as spare part) should be used
only for thin liquid disinfectants without additives (micro/nano particles)
