On the right side is the combined mains inlet and fuse holder. The VCU
must only be connected to a supply of the voltage rating stated on the
unit and in accordance with local wiring regulations.
NOTE:
The fuse can only be changed with the mains connector
removed. The 240V unit requires a 250mA time lag fuse and the 110-
120V unit requires a 500mA time lag fuse.
Towards the left -hand side of the rear panel is the OPTO in VIDEO fiber
optic connector. An ‘ST’ connector is fitted as standard but a FSMA type
connector can be fitted if specified in the order.
The VIDEO OUT BNC connector provides the 1V pk-pk video signal for
the monitor or VCR.
Near to the center of the back panel is the OPTO OUT CONTROL fiber
optic connector. Again an ‘ST’ connector is fitted as standard but a
FSMA type connector can be fitted if specified on the order. The fiber
optic cable fitted to this connector mates with the CONTROL IN
connector on the Camera Box.
If a USB is fitted it will be identified as such. A USB cable must be used
to connect to the computer’s USB connector.
NOTE:
There are no user adjustable controls inside the unit and no user
maintenance is possible. Removal of the main cover will invalidate the
warranty.
