Care: By following some care tips you will be able
to enjoy your Eterna watch for a long time. You can
maintain the shine and appearance of the high-quality
material of your Eterna watch by cleaning it regularly.
All you need to clean it is a soft brush with natural hairs
and tepid water. Your Eterna watch should be rinsed
with fresh water, specially after swimming in the sea
(salt water). If your wristwatch has a leather strap, you
can optimise the longevity of the strap by avoiding
contact with water.
Maintenance: Handling the watch, aging processes in
the packing material or severe temperature fluctuations
can affect the most water resistant of cases. Conse-
quently we recommend, an annual water resistance
inspection by a specialist.
A mechanical watch is exposed to extraordinary
demands. It executes more than one billion movements
in less than four years. For this reason you are advised to
bring your watch to your Eterna specialist watch store
every four years at the latest. Qualified watchmakers
will clean the timepiece as part of a thorough overhaul
and will re-oil it.
