1. Rotate the rotary switch to .
2. Test the NCV function on a known live circuit
before use.
3. Place the top of the multimeter very close to
the voltage source as shown in
Figure 2.1 .
4. If voltage is detected, the LED above the
display will flash, and the multimeter will beep.
5. The sound will change with the level of the
detected voltage. When a high voltage is
measured, the screen will display “---H”, and
when a low voltage is measured, the screen
will display “---L”.
