Removing the gel string:

Step 1:

Using your finger, turn the trailer roller drive wheel (hook and loop pad) at the

bottom of the scroller clockwise and wind the gel onto the trailer roller.

Step 2:

Gently untape the gel from the leader roller.

Step 3:

Carefully pull the gel from the trailer roller and roll the gel up tightly, untape the

trailer from the roller, and tape the gel roll for storage.

Installing a gel string:

Step 1:

Place the new gel string roll on the leader roller side of the scroller and attach a

76 mm (3") strip of Gaffer’s tape length-wise so that half of it extends past the

end of the trailer. The long tag on the gel should be facing up.

N o t e :

Use only Gaffer’s P665 tape to attach the gel string. Do not use duct or masking tape.

Step 2:

Center the edges of the trailer on the trailer roller and secure it with the tape.

Step 3:

While applying gentle pressure to the gel string, turn the trailer roller drive wheel

(hook and loop pad) at the bottom of the scroller clockwise and wind the gel onto

the roller. Make sure the gel stays centered on the roller.

Step 4:

When you reach the end of the gel, gently pull on it while holding the roller drive

wheel to take the slack out of the roll.

Step 5:

Attach a 76 mm (3") strip of Gaffer’s tape length-wise so that half of it extends

past the end of the leader. Maintain tension on the roll.

Step 6:

With your other hand, turn the leader roller clockwise until the black line on the

roller label is facing up.
