Steam ironing is not suitable for fabrics from synthetic and silk fibers (e.g.
acrylon,
nylon, polyamide, spandex, elastane or polyester
). If you decide to iron such
materials, you have to set the thermostat control dial
A2
to the one dot symbol and press
the button for low steam generation
B2
.
– Iron white and light materials on the right side; it is better to iron dark and embroidered
materials on the wrong side, it brings out the patterns.
– We recommend using soft textile permeable base materials for steam ironing.
– Make sure that the ironed fabric is tensed up properly so that steam does not leak to the
sides.
– For the ironing plate to remain smooth, protect it from direct contact with hard objects
(e.g.
zip fasteners, buttons, snap buttons, decorative objects
). To put the iron aside,
use the resting plate of the boiler that is equipped with anti-slip pads and designed to
withstand very high temperatures.

Control

(Fig. 2) is marked with international symbols that recommend the optimum
ironing temperature and they are the same as marking on some types of laundry
and textiles (Fig. 3). When the temperature is increased from the cold state or if the
temperature is set from higher to lower, we recommend waiting for a while (see the
information on the display and listen for sound signalling) due to stabilization of the
ironing plate

Filling up the tank with water
Pull the water tank
C
out (Fig. 4) and take off the cover of the water funnel
C1
. Pour clean
tap water into the tank up to the line (MAX 1.7 L) and close the funnel cap with
a snap. Insert the tank into the boiler in a reverse way, end-to-end. We recommend diluting
hard tap water with distilled water. You can obtain information on the water hardness from
the water supply network manager, or at a hygienic station. We recommend filling the iron
according to the following ratio when the water hardness is > 15 °N:
