Description
The CM2 is a secondary controller for use on non-networked systems.
This controller contains all the circuitry, memory, instructions, and
controls to communicate with the CM1 master controller.
The customizing software which defines and configures each CM2 is
stored in non-volatile EEPROM. Information is entered and/or
modified with an IBM compatible personal computer.

Model CM2
The CM2 is comprised of a control module motherboard, cover
assembly, and the following plug in cards:
• The CPU card which contains the controller microprocessor, system
firmware, RAM and EEPROM memory.
• The communications card. Options include class A or B RS-485 or
serial loop system data lines. Serial data lines are available in 20 mA
loop or fiber optic format. An RS-232 printer/program port is also
provided on each communications card.
• Option Cards. A selection of system input and output cards is
available in a number of configurations.
The CM2 circuitry is housed in a protective cover.
