Loosen distributor clamp screw "B" and turn distributor clockwise to the full limit permitted by the slot in the clamping
plate "C."
Turn the distributor counterclockwise until the points have just begun to open. Tighten lock screw "B."
When the engine is in this position the rotor arm "F" will point directly to the sector in the distributor cap to which
number one spark plug cable is connected. Following around the cap clockwise from this point the spark plug wires
should be in the following order: 1-5-3-6-2-4.
