Authentication Mode
In the
Authentication Mode
field, use the drop down menu to make a selection.
Per Endpoint
means
to register and authenticate wholly according to each individual line.
Per Gateway Reg
means to
register and authenticate wholly according to gateway.
Per Gateway Auth
means to register according
to each individual line, and to authenticate wholly according to gateway.
User Name
Set the
User Name
field if registered as
Per Gateway Reg
or
Per Gateway Auth
. If registered as

Endpoint
, do not set this parameter.
Password
In the
Password
field enter soft-switch authentication password, which can be digits or characters.
The password is case sensitive. If registered as
