Playback from a specific part

The sound is muted during playback of DVD and VCD.

The scan speed of MP3 cannot be changed.

This function may not work with some discs.

The SKIP buttons (

) of the main unit can also be
used. Press and hold the SKIP button and release it when the
point you want to listen to is found.
Direct Playback
If the numeric buttons are pressed in the stop mode of DVD,
playback will start from the selected title (or group).
If the numeric buttons are pressed during playback of DVD,
the selected chapter (or track) will be played from the
beginning.
In the stop or play mode of VCD, CD and MP3, select a track
by pressing the numeric buttons. Playback starts from the
selected track.

To skip to a specific chapter/track
During playback, press the SKIP button (

repeatedly until the desired chapter or track is found. The
selected chapter/track will be played from the beginning.
When the

button is pressed during playback of a CD,
the track being played will be played from the beginning. To
return to the beginning of the previous track, press the
.
button twice.

If the

button is pressed in the resume mode of DVD,
playback will start from the beginning of the title you
interrupted playback last time.
Search for a part of a chapter/track
During playback, press the SCAN button (

or
,
) of the
remote control unit. Press the PLAY button when the part you
want to listen to is found.
Each time the SCAN button is pressed, the scan speed is
incremented.
