7.3.2 Science observing TSF
Four science observing templates are available:
•
CRIRES_spec_obs_AutoNodOnSlit
: AO and NoAO spectroscopic observations
performed by nodding along the slit (i.e., recommended for all point source like
targets)
•
CRIRES_spec_obs_GenericOffset
: AO and NoAO spectroscopic observations
performed by moving the target along and off slit according to user-defined offsets
pattern (i.e., recommended for extended objects).
•
CRIRES_spec_obs_SpectroAstrometry
:
AO
and
NoAO
spectroscopic
observations performed by nodding along the slit and taken according to user-
defined position angles pattern.
•
CRIRES_pol_obs_AutoNodOnSlit
: AO-assisted spectro-polarimetry performed by
nodding along the slit
