(1) low voltage of battery
(1) wire connection is loose
ANALYSIS OF MALFUNCTION
(1) 13 amp plug may be faulty
(2) 40 amp fuse blown in battery
(1) air pressure low in the tyre
(2) battery sufficiently charged
(3) Fully charged battery but still not
achieving range
(4) low temperature in winter affects
range
(1) low voltage of battery
(2) circuit breaker not in ‘on’ position
(1) abrasion of motor bearing
(2) abrasion of carbon brush
(3) rear motor wheel does not run true
(1) charge the battery
(1) charge the battery
(3) turn to ‘on’ position
WAY OF ELIMINATING
(1) refer to workshop for repair
(1) inflate to 40psi
(2) fully charge or check the touching of
connectors (*)
(3) fully ‘discharge’ battery then charge
for a minimum of 4 hours
(4) in extremely cold conditions range
can be reduced. Range will reutrn when
temperature increases
(1) check fuse in 13 amp plug and
connectors
(2) check and replace fuse
