27 

 

Put a hard, flat material on top of the belt 
splice. 
Add some heavy weight. 

 

Wait minimum 2 hours for the adhesive to 

harden. 
Remove the load and the tape. 
If necessary, sand the top of the adhesive 

until the surface is smooth and flat. 

 

 

Pay special attention to the edges. 
Ensure the belt edges are smooth and 
without sharp edges.
