Introduction
The ESI RF Bridge enables integration with 3rd party control systems by translating RQ commands (serial ASCII)
into ESI RF commands. The RQ commands are the same as those used for the RQ Bridge, which allow ESI RF
devices to be controlled by Home Automation Systems or Building Management Systems using existing ESI RQ
drivers. The ESI RF Bridge communicates to ESI RF devices (RF motors, SUITE remote, and the RF Switch
Interface) and also to RQ devices (RQ motors/RQ motor controls) that use the ESI RF RQ Transceiver interface.
The ESI RF Bridge enables large networks of up to 255 devices.
Product Versions:
For full use of the new configuration options, the ESI RF Bridge (v1.0.4.0) requires the following product
versions in the RF network:
SUITE remote
= v1.8.0.0;
ESI RF motor
= v1.6.0.0;
ESI RF RQ Transceiver
= v1.6.0.0; and
RF Switch Interface
= v1.0.2.0
Major Updates:
Multiple SUITE Remotes can be joined to the network to provide local control for up to 16 motors each
(Arc remote) or up to 4 motors each (Step remote). Channels allow any remote to control any motor.
A Device Menu allows you to: Configure and Query SUITE Remotes, Manage Channels, Delete Devices,
and Identify Devices. See

The USB port is only for power, not data.

supply provided.
