1. GENERAL INFORMATION 

1.1 About 

Energy  Solutions  Air  (ESA)  is  a  Canadian  manufacturer  that  specializes  in  making  Heat 
Recovery Ventilators (HRV’s) also known as heat exchangers. These HRV’s are designed and 
proven to help improve animal welfare, air quality, reduce greenhouse gases emissions and 
heating costs. Feel free to visit our website anytime at

We thank you for purchasing your ESA-1000 heat exchanger(s). We require that you read 
this  manual  carefully  before  proceeding  with  the  installation  and  start-up  of  your  heat 
exchanger(s). Installation and use that does not comply with the instructions in this manual 
are hazardous, may cause damage to your building, and will void your product warranty. 

Installations  may  vary  depending  on  the  position  in  which  the  unit(s)  are  installed.  The 
illustrations in this document may differ slightly from your installation. Use the illustrations 
as guides to help you understand the installation process.
