TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem

Possible Solution

Disc turns in wrong direction



Contact Erskine Attachments LLC

Disc gets plugged with debris



Make sure loader throttle is set to 100% while working



Make sure loader auxiliary flow is set to HIGH FLOW



Ensure maximum disc RPM is attained before mulching.



Reduce the amount of material you try to mulch at one time.



Rotate (or replace) dull teeth to expose sharp edges.

Hydraulic system overheating



Check that loader cooling fan is operating correctly.



Clean debris from radiator screen



Clean radiator with compressed air or flush with water



Reduce system work load by slowing the work pace



Periodically stop work to allow system to cool.



Add auxiliary oil cooler sold by third party



Contact your dealer

Excessive vibration



Check for debris lodged between the teeth



Check teeth and disc for damage



Contact your dealer
